Now Accepting Applications: Numerix’s 2025 Women in Finance Scholarship
Today, we are excited to officially kick-off of the 2025 Women in Finance Scholarship. As part of our ongoing commitment to empowering the next generation of female finance leaders, Numerix will award a $20,000 scholarship to one outstanding graduate student pursuing a career in finance. Women who qualify are invited to apply via our online application portal. The application period runs from April 9 through May 30, 2025.
Empowering Women in Finance
For over a decade, the Women in Finance Scholarship has helped elevate aspiring female leaders in the financial industry. It is geared specifically to women advancing their education with the goal of launching a career in financial asset management, market risk management, structured finance, fixed-income, and derivatives within the capital markets. This scholarship program was previously run by FINCAD until Numerix acquired the company in 2023 and assumed responsibility for its funding and implementation.

2024 Scholarship Winner: Jaya Guar
Last year’s scholarship winner, Jaya Gaur is applying her $20,000 financial award towards earning a master's degree in financial engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. Once Jaya completes her education and gains additional experience in finance, her goal is to return to her home country of India and launch her own portfolio management firm. "The scholarship not only validated my hard work but also gave me the confidence to focus on my career aspirations without compromise," Shah said of the opportunity. "Additionally, it connected me with a network of inspiring women in finance, reinforcing my commitment to mentoring and supporting others in the industry."
How to Apply
Numerix’s US$20,000 Women in Finance scholarship opportunity is open to women of any citizenship who have less than ten years’ work experience and less than five years of professional experience in the financial field. Eligible candidates must be studying finance in a graduate-level program at an accredited institution and must be pursuing or planning to pursue a career in financial asset management, market risk management, structured finance, fixed-income, and derivatives within the capital markets.
